Professional Drylining Services Across Ireland
AIB Drylining Ltd is a specialist drylining and plastering sub contractor based in Dublin, delivering high-quality work across Ireland for over 14 years. Drylining and plastering are our main trades, and we also take on house extensions, attic conversions, garage conversions, plasterboard partitioning, skimming and full interior finishing. We work on everything from single-room renovations to large-scale commercial hospital fit-outs, and we bring the same level of skill and care to every job.
Our team has extensive experience in plasterboard installation, metal and timber stud partitioning, attic conversions, house extensions, skimming, and fire-rated commercial drylining systems. We work directly with homeowners, alongside main contractors on large developments, and as specialist subcontractors on complex commercial projects.
What sets AIB Drylining apart is simple: we are a team of dedicated tradespeople with drylining at the heart of what we do. While drylining and plastering are our main focus, we also deliver house extensions, attic conversions, partition walls and complete inside finishing, so you can keep the whole job under one roof. We've built our reputation on doing every one of these to a standard we're proud to put our name on.

What Drives Us
These aren't just words on a wall. They're the principles we bring to every drylining project, every day, across every county in Ireland.
Quality First, Every Time
We never compromise on the standard of our finish. Every wall, every ceiling, every joint, done right. We use premium boards, the correct fixings, and skilled plasterers who take pride in their work. The result is a surface that stands up to scrutiny and looks perfect under any light.
Punctual & Reliable
We stick to timelines and keep you updated throughout the job. When we say we'll be on site Monday morning, we're there Monday morning. No unexplained absences, no chasing for updates, just consistent, professional communication from start to finish.
Fully Insured
AIB Drylining Ltd carries full public liability and employer's liability insurance. Every project is covered, every worker on site is protected, and every client has complete peace of mind. We're happy to provide insurance documentation on request for any project.
Experienced Crew
Our drylining operatives have years of hands-on experience across domestic extensions, attic conversions, commercial fit-outs, and large-scale healthcare projects. Skilled hands, sharp eyes, and the professional attitude that comes from doing this work every day.
End-to-End Service
From steel stud framing and insulation boarding, through plasterboard installation and taping, to the final multi-coat skim, we cover the complete drylining scope. One team, one point of contact and no gaps between trades. That's what keeps the process smooth for builders and homeowners alike.
Ireland-Wide Coverage
Based in Dublin but active right across Ireland: Kildare, Mullingar, Navan, Limerick, Longford, Athlone and beyond. We regularly travel nationwide for the right project. If you're in Ireland, give us a call.
14 Years of Growing with Ireland
From a one-man Dublin drylining operation to one of Ireland's most trusted specialist sub contractors. Here's how we got here.
Getting Started
AIB Drylining Ltd was founded in Dublin with a simple goal: do honest work, do it well, and show up when we say we will. Our first projects were small domestic drylining jobs around the Dublin area: skimming, plasterboard fitting and basic partition walls for homeowners who needed a reliable trade.
Growing the Team
Word of mouth spread quickly. Satisfied homeowners recommended us to their neighbours, and soon we were fielding more calls than we could handle alone. We expanded our crew, investing in training and taking on larger residential projects, including multi-unit housing developments across Dublin and Kildare.
Into Commercial Drylining
Main contractors started calling. We moved into commercial drylining, fitting out offices, retail units and mixed-use developments, without losing our residential roots. Fire-rated partitioning, acoustic wall assemblies, and high-spec suspended ceilings became part of our everyday offering.
Surviving & Adapting
The pandemic tested every trade business in Ireland. We adapted, maintained our team, and kept every committed project on schedule. That resilience strengthened our relationships with contractors and homeowners who needed a drylining company they could rely on no matter what.
Nationwide Reach
With active sites in Limerick, Longford, Athlone, and beyond, AIB Drylining became a truly Ireland-wide drylining sub contractor. Same quality, same team, same standards, wherever the project took us. Our Limerick work at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) marked a major milestone in large-scale healthcare fit-outs.
14+ Years Strong
Over 100 projects completed across domestic and commercial sectors. A growing team of skilled drylining operatives. A reputation for quality we've earned job by job. We still treat every project, whether it's a single room skim or a hospital ward fit-out, with the same care and attention to detail we had on day one.
Domestic & Commercial Drylining
Two distinct markets, one consistent standard of workmanship.
Domestic Drylining & Plastering
For homeowners across Ireland, AIB Drylining provides the complete internal finish for house extensions, attic conversions, garage conversions, and full home renovations. We handle steel stud partitioning, plasterboard fixing, insulation boarding, taping and jointing, and multi-coat skim plastering.
We understand that working in someone's home requires respect, care, and minimal disruption. Our team arrives on time, works cleanly, and leaves every room tidy at the end of each day. Homeowners across Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, and beyond have trusted us with their most important investment, their home.
Commercial Drylining Sub Contractor
For main contractors and developers, AIB Drylining operates as a specialist drylining sub contractor across offices, retail units, healthcare facilities, hotels, and mixed-use developments. We work to programme, attend site meetings, and interface professionally with other trades to keep projects on schedule.
Our commercial experience includes fire-rated partitioning, acoustic wall assemblies, suspended MF ceilings, and high-spec skim finishing to tight tolerances. Notable projects include ongoing fit-out work at University Hospital Limerick (UHL), one of Ireland's largest active healthcare construction programmes.
